A Diamond

A Diamond you are, thin as a whisper, a summer breeze that bleeds into the night's stillness, I am, as you.. tough, invincible perhaps! (as is all folly) the young, the reckless, the air and fire of this world, humble, arrogant, all- insignificant, buried you are, no matter how sharp the blade, this warrior's sword kicking up dust in the eternal battle, this prison of sand, of beaches and sunsets, the glory of night, sweet kisses of love and death.. within an hour glass of war, a body of work, unfinished and unread- this life, buried by time, and much stronger than I, you are A Diamond
