A Day of Thankful Memories
As I sit here with my family filled with love
We talk of days past when we we're young
The joys and laughter that filled the air
To think back when my children were small
Depending on me to hold them when sad
To kiss away the tears when they get hurt
As I watch them with their families
To hear the laughter and joy in the air again
Watching as they hold on to one another
From this day on I will always carry happiness
Memories to carry in my heart and soul
For all my love to my children and their families.
