A Day at the Circus

At the circus were acrobats, Jugglers and clowns And dancers in costumes, All spangled, or gowns. A walker on tightrope, The flying trapeze, With music and acts Which all ages would please. There was pink cotton candy And popcorn for sale So that joy and excitement And smiles would prevail. At the circus were families Delighted to be There, like both of my grandkids, My husband and me.
