A Day

A Day filled with Highs,

Arduous trudging and faces close-by,

Blistering speed but careful Eyes,

We walk without tension,

For the mind it was an extension,

Purged of any apprehension,

Merely a moment we perceive,

Baring witness to beautiful glee,

Bringing back my moment with thee,

Pouring happiness into our empty hearts,

Our lives now far from ever being sparse,

A challenge made to who dared tear us apart,

And let us not break the habit of forgiveness,

Nor the purity of remembrance,

Thus giving our day,

Our Day, Greatness
