A David For David

Hailing from the tribe of Judah King David was both a warrior and a poet Who wrote the book of Psalms His pen flowed with beautiful verses King David was a man after God's own heart When he slew Goliath that set him apart He was annointed to be Israel's King Though the lust in his heart caused him to sin Saul envied him, and wanted to hurt him But he was divinely protected anywhere he fled From his line would come the King of Kings Who gave us salvation and healing *-----------------------------------------------* David, as you take this time to care for your wife My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Wishing all the best as she convalesces.

A great example of someone who had all the trappings of manly flesh, yet God found favor in Him and blessed him immensely...imperfect people are God's greatest messengers, musicians, and Kings! A great weekend to ya. This is sooo very well done! gwendolen
