Last night, while I drifted in curious slumber
Awakened from sleep by the man in the moon
Who peeked in my window and filtered the room
With twinkling star lights, in rhythmic numbers
The heavens were alive with musical rumbles
The clouds gathered round to melodious tunes
Last night, while I drifted in curious slumber
Awakened from sleep by the man in the moon
Outside on the lawn, trees were dancing the rumba
With the breeze blowing in, curtains curled pirouettes
While two lonely nightingales were singing duets
I was dancing in tune with the man in the moon
