A Dance So Cantankerous

A dance so cantankerous The one that is not on earth Happens every day in a forest Not far from land of chaos It is dance with a partner His tail so longer and thorny The teeth never knows brush And the legs home of fleas Crescendo or diminuendo This witty partner wriggles With the wet mouth open I fear for virus infection And comes the foot work Clumsily my feet he steps on His tail slaps my open body School pupil victim always The audience my savior Watches from secure hilltops With no one to save me here The ugly dance is everlasting
