A Cup of Tea

After dinner I boil
A kettle of water
I choose the T
Pour the water
Then add teabag
Make my T strong
Putting honey and lemon
To enjoy my tea,

Oh, can I relate, Darlene! I've become a tea addict the past 20 years-- 6 to 8 cups a day--minimum!

Hello L. J. Carber,I have 4 sometimes 5 cups a day. My last tea is Lavender to help em sleep. It is calming and makes me sleep. Have a nice day my friend. So nice to meet you. have a nice day my friend.

Hi Darlene, What a good idea; a nice cuppa after dinner. In England we call a cup of T in slang Rosy Lea...just thought I'd add that in. Nice simple poem and so quintessentially English.
