A Cup of T With My Morning
A sip of his eyes gazing awhile
A slice of his adorable smile
A taste of his soft sweet lips
Makes my heart do double flips
I did not know until we met
All others before I would regret
No one from my past can compare
To this strong chemistry we share
Filled with desire, no sleep, no rest
No games to play and nothing to test
No red flags, no lines to rehearse
He’s seen me look my best and worse
Simple touch of his hand on my neck
Tingles my spine and makes me a wreck
Living in the moment lost on a cloud
Feeling safe to say everything aloud
Daydreaming of midnight rendezvous’
Believing in fate nothing to lose
Losing control when he’s standing near
Something bigger is happening here
Charming and fun, sensitive interior
Witty humor, light heart-ed exterior
In so many ways he is me, I am him
Soulful heart, similar thoughts within
Sharing so much of my time and so soon
Is something I said I would never do
Now I wake up and start pouring
A cup of him with my morning
