A cup of Joe with Jesus

Hello Jesus,

It’s been a minute, let’s sit down and chat, lets meet at Angel Food.. I’ll buy, let’s eat some super sweet calorie filled donuts and a cup of Joe, lets not worry about gaining calories.

I can’t promise great service but at least you’ll be welcomed with a smile, it’s been awhile… i promise to pray and say grace before I eat or drink, I’ve been told I’m a good listener, what do you think?

So Jesus, what do you think of today’s weather, your sun is shining, your birds are chirping away, how did you sleep the wind is blowing lightly, let’s not get too deep…

Jesus, you know your daughter Amanda, the one you choose to have autism, and my son Joshua, my blessings from you, they are the reason I’m here, oh how is my mom?

My sweet, merciful loving Father, forgive me if I weep, I just am so full of despair, I’m so alone, but I still get up each and every morning, get dressed, I kiss the cross on my wall, I say “thank you Jesus for another day, I'm asking you to guide me through this life Jesus, I know you have no time constraints, can I give you an embrace, I need to let you Jesus, to lead me, I’m weak, tired, but I’m trying my best..

Jesus, thank you for meeting me here today, let’s do this again tomorrow morning, I better let you go before you fill up on coffee., I love you Jesus with all my heart, God bless you now and always.
