A Cuddled Child In Your Lap
P-ouring rain and chill
E-vade the sunny Thursday;
R-ise of the beacon begins,
L-ong cold night fades
A-way.
C-louds nineteenth January
A-re brought to oblivion;
B-irthday's burning flame
R-ises above the horizon.
E-cstasy erases the sorrow,
R-apture has filled the gap;
A-nother heart is warmed by a cuddled child in your lap.
