A Crow in the front garden
Smiles a plenty
Under the veil of malice intent
Healthy love and support
Just a disguise for abusive behaviour
All the moments we see as beautiful
Just a front for growing dissent in the home
Dresses, Suits, shirts and ties
Expected Uniform of joy and of heaviest heartbreak
It's too far to travel either way
Too far gone in the eyes of societal gods
All alone as you sink further down
Marital distress or descending boxes
LIAR
ABUSER
there's a fox in the hen house
There's a thief in the mansion
Falling for honeyed words
Too far gone with yourself
You know it's wrong but you love the disorder
Get over it
Get away from yourself
Fall in love with the side you tried to kill
This house smells of decay in emotional ways
The rats are coming for the flesh left behind
Rotten to the core but smells so sweet you find yourself still drawn
Check marks in all the correct places
Marked in the boxes in the right order
You know next they'll come after your sister
What a strange way to honour her
You're an addict towards addiction
A person of morals but zero conviction
You refuse to clean yourself of the filth
Put on the white dress now
The one with that putrid smell of self assured destruction
LIAR
LIAR
LIAR
LIAR
KILLER
ABUSER
DISEASED
ROTTEN
LIAR LIAR LIAR
HOW LONG UNTIL THE HOME IS ON FIRE
