A Covenant of Peace

A Covenant of Peace

Inside a forest snow globe
This thought resides
A reminder
Of innocent wonder

Of a quiet day
Side by side
Crisp sips on cool white wine
Gentle leisure time

Gentle children sleeping
In the cradle of the world
Free to dream and meander through sunshine
Drowsy smiles of play time
