A Cornucopia of Delight
Autumn arrived bestowing a respite,
From the torrid summer’s swelter,
The air was fragrantly delicious,
Hosting copious birds-of-a-feather,
A cleansing taste of chill,
Permeated the still crisp air,
As a promise of relief from the summer’s heat,
Accompanied me everywhere,
The colors of the leaves,
Were a cornucopia of delight,
Bathing my eyes,
In the tranquil serenity,
Of the nurturing sunlight.
