A Cornucopia of Colour

Intricate patterns, exotic flowers
  curl into royal insignias
    cultured eyes can devour
A cornucopia of colours

Like a peacock's feathers on display
  expanding and contracting
    those myriad Eyes ~
Visual accordions at play

All this and more
  covers the floor
    of my living room
Please don't step on the rug
  ~ and a peacock deplume

A vibrantly beautiful poem, Gershon. That sounds like an awesome rug! Best of wishes.

You know, you're right! The rug is awesome. And yet, I walk on it like it's nothing. After writing this poem, I am going to be more 'respectful!' (How to do so is another question). Thanks, Evelyn!! :) Gershon

Yeah, you never ever want a deplumed peacock. Ghastly! LOL. Thanks, Ron. Stay well, Gershon

Hello Gershon … there is so much beauty and colours in our lives, so it's a pity many do not see this world that way - thanks Gershon - Lindsay

Well-put. The common denominator is that they are colors of love. Thanks for the insight, Arturo! Happy Monday evening, Gershon

Sounds like a colorful spread you have there. I never thought about it before but there is very little color in my house. A lot of earth tones. Lovely imagery my friend. Stay frosty.

When I was single, earthy was the only tone in my apartment. Now, my wife is the peacock. Thanks, David. Stay healthy! Happy Monday, Gershon

Love love love the imagery, especially the peacock feathers 'myraid eyes' - and visual accordions' - gotta add to my faves!
