A Convergence In the Moment
At the river I flow
spirit to watery soul
upon an endless course.
I breathe evergreen illusions
I am rock and rolling stone
in harmony with Gaia
and her offspring.
I flow through lands
rich with gold,
tripping quickly where
chaos unfolds,
to glide with ease
amid jungle trees;
rest in creeks
and sail the seas;
in the moment, I am
helping shift the sands
to lands of pyramids
and diamond mines;
I am elemental so refined
to be the water
as it unfolds
I come to linger
upon distant shoals
and cast my soul-eye
to espy the gentle
creatures walking by.
At the river I flow
collecting tales that
Nature’s told.
