I was once a lonely poet until I found this website, so grateful for all the support here (though I feel just a teeny tiny bit left out by the word 'brotherhood'!)

How about 'humanhood'?

Had I an equivalent or better alternative to 'brotherhood' there, I would have used it... I had already used congregation, which would have worked...Brotherhood, moreover, because of its historic connotations, is more inclusive than 'sisterhood' or 'sorority, ... To sum up, I hear your plea ... It's real ... And I'm open to substituting another equivalent or better word...:) gw
