A Colored Cage

I need a quiet place
a secluded place
a place for only the war to take place
a place for my demons to discover my Angels
a place for only my intrepid thoughts might hypnotize themselves
into a mosaic of time and bleed through these fingertips
and this blood, red and stained so deliberately cast it's spell on these chamber walls
so helplessly I'm trapped within the prison of my shattered mind

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Very intense, when demons are discovering angels within the mind. Feels like there's no escape ! This is deep and powerful, all at the same time. ~ Brandy

So many can resonate. So many are prisoners of their own mind. Love how you’ve written this! Brilliant and soul hitting
