A Coke and a Smile

I wish to lean towards the extraordinary Just a bit beyond mundane and ordinary All the while avoiding stupidity As I move through life's problems with fluidity Being bold enough to avoid my passivity So that I can approach my human capacity. Without being consumed by my own naivety No excuses I'll find the answers I'm one of the problem solving dancers I tip toe beyond my mind shaped prisons Gliding through life's inevitable seasons Everything that happens Happens for so many different reasons So I'll stand up Wake up Get up And get to it I'll make the best of it not trying to avoid it Or being afraid of it Full force when needing it Holding back nothing Yet willing to give away all of it Because I'm borrowing it None of it Belongs to any of us Some are passengers Others of us Are driving the bus Let's make the trip good Don't be afraid of being generous Celebrate others Forget being envious By leaning towards your you You too can live it Breathe it Seize it Be in it Move through and beyond it Together we can celebrate it You me and all of it! All because we leaned just a little bit..... Yes we can say we've done it It's the best That's all there is to it After all "it's the real thing!" isn't it?

You've made that two little word "it" feel like so much more. A deep message with an upbeat can-do vibe ... and even your deceptively simple title conjures up more images with those bouncy Coke commercials! (not that I've ever seen any of that stuff happen after drinking a soda, but it's the thought that counts ... lol) ...

"Holding back nothing Yet willing to give away all of it" "Everything that happens Happens for so many reasons" ... sometimes I feel like your poetry is a collage of proverbs that somehow forms a greater whole. You can read just snippets and get great wisdom out of it: P.S. P-Soup really ought to up their character limit past 500!

I don't even drink soda and I want some after reading this. I almost wonder if this could even lean into a satire about the Advertising industry when they push about "POSITIVE FEELINGS" & "FRIENDSHIP" knowing it's still an f-ing can of Soda w/tons of sugar & high fructose corn syrup. Yay, health??

Maybe just a bit. For each person "it" means something different. My hope is that each person finds the it that is most fullfilling for them. Thanks for the visit Drake.
