'a Closed Door To a New Beginning'

Even when you feel lost
  There is always a way
Of finding direction
  Somehow we tend to look
At a closed door
  As our last chance,

Wishful for it to open
  Meanwhile open doors
Are begging for some attention

  Just a little nudge
That is all it would take
But we tend to be afraid,
Fearful of the unknown
  Wasting our hopes and dreams
On doors that was never
  Meant for us to open

Look beyond that closed door
  Open yourself up to that
And move past
The ones that were closed in your face…

yes, you're so right, Wilma. Perhaps those doors that closed in our faces were never really open anyway ..although at times it's hard to believe that. Maybe just ajar a bit to sneak a little learning in? I see you have learned much and I shall try and remember that in my day to day living..... but then again ...memory is certainly not my strong suit, : )

Terrific wisdom Wilma, sometimes it's not easy to go through the closed doors. But you will never know what's beyond unless one does :)

Wow! Very philosophical, Wilma. I'm not one to let closed doors stop me from turning the knob. But once a door is closed in my face, there is no option but to move on. Awesome write, dear! Love, Carolyn

There is a good deal of truth in your words Wilma, this sort of unembellished truth we all need to read...!
