A Christmas Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, I do not want for anything except for your healing touch upon my body and for tranquility to envelop me this season. For peace I pray - For peace of mind and also for your loving peace to enwrap all the people on this planet. Let those who seek find the needed solutions to the many problems plaguing them today. This is what I ask, and I know it is a lot. Amidst the tribulations all around us, let me and all my loved ones revel in sweet harmony this Christmas season and forevermore. Amen Dec. 2, 2020 for the Christmas Poetry Contest of Regina McIntosh

This is an excellent post and a wonderful poem, my dearly beloved sister of God's inspirational grace, Andrea. I love the flow of the words and the impact of the message of grace and reverence. The descriptive excellence is lovely and sends terrific images of God's grace. The theme is right on point for Christmas. The tone and tenor move the piece down the page with much humbleness. Great job! Have a fantastic day, don't forget to pray, stay inspired, ingenious, continue defeating coronavirus, be mindful, and enlightened with God's richest grace and blessings always. What a lovely prayer for peace to the Prince of Peace. Your faith is a shining light in the darkness. Ending with "Amen," meaning so be it, is a prayer of faith unto itself. Congratulations on your win!

Andrea, prayer poems may seem easy to write, however you know that's not true. A really good prayer poem like this one is magical. It brought tears to my eyes. I hope you share this with others in your life. A couple of lines from it would be befitting for a holiday card of joy and comfort and cheer. Love it!
