A Child's Visit Past
The days we shared are past,
Your left presence is hovering,
No one to bring me my glass,
Blanketed knees covering.
Like a drug, I must have a you fix,
And like a drug must suffer withdrawal,
I despondent wait for your sunshine,
Tomorrow and morrow and morrow.
