A Child's Visit Past

The days we shared are past, Your left presence is hovering, No one to bring me my glass, Blanketed knees covering. Like a drug, I must have a you fix, And like a drug must suffer withdrawal, I despondent wait for your sunshine, Tomorrow and morrow and morrow.

Some things in life are hard to get by without them, especially children and other loved ones. Very sad, especially the waiting...and loneliness! Regards // paul
