A Child

Caught on the breath of a sleeping child
Love whispers and dances her lullabies
The tears that shone like dew
Upon his cheek's pale hue
Now flush with rosy warmth

And a stillness, sweet and serene
Bears him aloft where angels dream.

Sheila, this is simply, lovely! As soft as a baby's breath.
