A Change of Heart
Sometimes
you make me so angry
I never want to look at you
ever again
But i know
I would not be happy
without looking
at those eyes
Sometimes
the jealousy sweeps over me
and I never want to talk to you
ever again
But i know
I would not want to
stop hearing
the sound of your voice
Sometimes
I see the way
you look at
other people
and i want them
to go away forever
But I know
that I could not do that
because it makes you happy
and that makes me happy too
Sometimes
I just want to leave you
for all the bad things
that you do
But i know
I could not leave you
for my heart
would long for you every day
Sometimes
I want to erase you
from my mind
never to be thought of again
But i know
the thought of you
would linger in my mind
and i want it to
I don't want you to fade away
ever
Sometimes
I want to leave
because i know
you are bad for me
But i know
my eyes
will always look at you
as perfection
Sometimes
I want you to leave
because i know
Im heading for a heartbreak
But i know
I wouldn't mind
It would be a privilege
to have my heart broken by you
