Dear reader this is a true account of my encounter with Jeremy Hughes, prevoius to the name here I had put a Mr Senior At the house called beech oast grange, Osmers hill Wadhurst east Sussex. in the year I believe 1999? I have made a land search and found the current owner had given me tha name of an owner too far back so I have changed this to the accurate name I hope I do get to meet Jeremy Hughes again I have often thought on this encounter

through the years, and had intended to call back and give him a visit, I returned last year to find new

occupants and an electric gate I had to wait until the current occupant emerged to enquire the whereabouts of my earlier contact, I had in fact forgotten his name in the intervening years, after

I mentioned the old guys profession the current man told me his Surname but could not give me a new address, he said his wife would know more so I will have to make a return journey at some point, time moves so much faster than we realise, I hope I can get more information next time, thank you for reading..' I think I should add something here, as its a true story, and as its about the one true God I would be a false witness otherwise, I had in the earlier parts of the conversation taken Mr Hughes to Hosea chapter 4 verse 3 where it states all the fish in the sea will disappear, again now we see fish stocks under threat, how could such statements be made of man alone? likewise I mentioned revelations ch 13 verses 16 to18, noting that just 30 years before people would have found it hard to believe all mankind could recieve a 'number' yet this man primitive of technology, made this statement

and now with the explosion of computer technology, it is real science..' But then it always was, its just taken man a long time to get up to 'speed' so you see at this point I was sort of surprised at how well I

had done in the event, and when the thought of mentioning Charles Wesley popped into my mind my reaction was ' I have done enough here' scored enough points..What if I mention him and I take the old guy off course? but as I and indeed 'we' now know.. Was about to find out how accurate God is.'

After considering all this I can only come to one conclusion, there can only be one all knowing all powerfull God.' For instance if we consider the Gospel of Matthew chapter 22 verse 13, we see hell described as a place of 'outer darkness' now I don't know about you but I see a great similarity with those 'black holes' that we were not aware of even in the 1970s yet are now looked at and disscussed at great length in science, I believe they say even were a lamp thrown in backwards the beam of light facing you cannot escape, so are these places a mirror image of a spiritual 'black hole?' the gent looked even more thoughtful at this juncture, now another prompting came to Joe.' Look this country is in a bad state spiritually the established Church has lost its way on the whole, and some contrary science has had a lot of bad influence,' Yet this country was in a bad place in the 17th century.. Until a man called Charles & his brother John Wesley, spoke the Truth to the people then this country turned around for the better, the man said yes; then he said something that shocked Joe down to his boots.' This is what the man answered; almost as if he were talking to himself.' I was reading a letter from Charles Wesley only last night, Joe took a closer look at the man.. Now Joe thought to himself but its been over two hundred years since he was alive.' It now seemed to Joe he had completley been wasting his time, ' the man was mad.' And to think he had been concerned the man might think 'him' crazy, and this is quite what he said to the man.' No no I'm quite sane replied the man; but Charles Wesley has been dead centuries how could he send you a letter answered Joe? I will explain if you let me said the man..' I have that letter and others in my possesion because my ancestor was a preacher for Charles Wesley.' Now Joe saw how the man knew the name of Isaiah.! I would like to introduce myself my name is Jeremy Hughes he said reaching out to shake Joes hand, and I'll tell you something right now.' the next article I write will be on God.' As Joe thought back on this encounter months after; he realised that Charles Wesley carried out his mission like a military campaign, so he had probably been advising Mr Seniors forebear by letter where to preach, and how important it was to give people the opportunity to be 'saved' and then Joe arrived the very next day, God only knew how long the letter had been lain by un-read till that point..'
