A Certain Power

Come and sit by my window
And watch the clouds roll by
I want to tell you something,
And don't think that I lie.

I have certain powers
I'm not sure what they are,
But I can turn a rainy night
Into an evening full of stars.

Maybe you don't know it
But I can read your mind,
Just give me your palm
And I'll show your life line.

Sometimes in my dreams at night
I have visions of things to come,
And in the daily news next day
My dream is page one.

Some people call us crazy
When our eyes begin to twitch,
But really all I am
Is a simple little witch.
