A Caller
Ring, Ring doorbell
What a piercing sound
It is so unexpected
And can make one's heart pound
I get in quite a tizzy
Who can that caller be
I'm really feeling dizzy
As I peeped outside to see
If it is a friendly face
Or is it a dreadful bore
I hope they can't see me
As I may not open the door
To welcome them into my home
With a friendly smile
Or it might be a visitor
That makes me want to run
Away from them
Until they're out of sight
Am I the only person
Who gets into this silly plight
