A Call To Share Paradise

I thought that a friend's need
Was to me a depleting circumstance
Rather than a call to heed
And a fulfilling chance
To feed
Their fallen countenance
With a virtuous deed
In the Most Eminent glance
Of Christ of my creed
At every available instance

This reminds me of the good Samaritan who didn't inquire of the man's deeds or whether he deserved his fate. He simply stopped and helped. We should always look for this opportunity and then act as moved by the spirit.
