A Bus of Dinonaurs
To honor the mother who raised him
the baby that grew from baby to baby
collects a bus full of baby dinosaurs
and goes with them in pitches to play
Asked why he loves baby dinosaurs
he answers back with silent arrogance
“I am a dinosaur in mind, body and soul
babyish as me I like their blind company
They are best toys that ever lived on earth.
Under my control I play with them freely.
They obey me and act without objection.
Virtue or vice, they are busy for me gladly
When I move with them in a caged bus,
each a tag of sport I scatter them to play,
playing without care they give me results.
drowsy humans gape at them score goals
Among them I am the only one with soul.
None of them possesses any mind like me
I take advantage of their sly creature-hood,
to build my empire with fools among fools
