A Brush with Blush

This is where I hide, 
A secret garden
Cool and quiet-
Where words rest
in safe space. 
Here I can write out
those wary, hidden thoughts
That come out with insight-
Aware, half awake, they fly out. 

Caught by surprise, 
Flushed OUT from
cozy comfort zone... 

Disturbance kick start
with real life
shock starts my heart
with blush brush.

Aqua Marine November 15, 2024 at 5:52 AM Only a couple of weeks into researching my issues with avoidant behavior. Extreme Shyness from growing up in an isolated environment. Recent experiences have left me anxious, unsure of myself. I've come to realize this is at the core of avoidant behavior. Self awareness is a key to changing fear to courage.... (to those who are battling with this... there is always hope....dont give up! <3)
