A Broken Fragment

“Each experience is locked within my heart and only I hold the key..."
A tiny bird trapped and longing to be free
To fly amongst those vibrant clouds
To finally shun away from dark deep doubts...
Of not being there, of being so far away
In those last days that she would silently pray~~
To see my face and feel my arms
And hold me tenderly and smile at my charm"""
And tell me stories of young and old
Though I have heard it a million times, as she has told
But alas I was aiming too high
Had no time to love or sigh
Until the day the fateful call came
And in a flash from two, one I became..........

this one is mysterious. WHo is the little bird? I might be interpreting it wrong, but I see it as a mother/daughter thing. Did I get it right? Or was it a love poem? It's very pretty, Tahera.
