A Brighter Future Together 2026
In ‘The FutureNow’ we are laying the foundation for those who may follow us, for the Baby Boomers to the Generation Z.
In the years to come, each of us will be challenge and that challenge will make us stronger if we learn to T.R.U.S.T. God.
How does each of us see in the word T.R.U.S.T. and what does it means to you?
Treasure, Refreshing, Ultimate, Strength, and Thankful.
1.Treasure is more than physical wealth, although that is included. The real Treasure is hidden within…gifts, talents, abilities, ideas or mental picture of a group or class of objects formed by combining all their aspects leading to great potentials locked within. “For where your treasure is, there will be your heart be also.” (Luke 12:34)
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasure on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. For the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man (or woman) found and covered up. This is his (or her) joy where they goes and sells all that they has and buys the field.” (Matthew 13:44)
2. Refreshing is something that makes you feel renewal, revitalized, or pleasantly different, like a cool breeze on a hot sunny day, a new perspective on a familiar surface bringing a sense of freshness and energy to the situation you may face.
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”(Proverbs 11:25 NIV)
3. The Ultimate end is God, the foundation of everything, the beginning and ending points toward Him, where we were made in His image, His likeness, to glorifies and praises His creation.
We are called to praise God, as is the whole creation. “Praise him, sun and moon, praise him all you shining stars! . . . Let them praise the name of the Lord, for He commanded and they were created”
(Psalm 148:3-5).
4. "Strength is the Lord" means that the source of true strength comes from God, implying that when facing challenges or difficulties, a person should rely on God's power rather than their own to overcome them; it essentially signifies that one's true strength lies in their faith and trust in God.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31) (Lord, teach us how to wait.)
"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
(Philippians 4:13)
5. "Being thankful" means feeling and expressing appreciation for the good things in your life, acknowledging the positive aspects of your circumstances, and recognizing the value of people and things around you; essentially, it's the act of being grateful of the things God has brought you through.
"Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!" (Psalm 95:2)
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Colossians 3:17)(NIV)
