A Breath Embrace

Strange the eyes that shift through the crowd.
Silent the voice but still shouts to me loud.
I see you watching me, I feel you around.

I walk a bit faster, yet it slows my pace.
I turn to see no stranger but, notice your face.
I feel you breathe, a breath embrace.

I start to run and find you behind.
I stop suddenly but you are nowhere to find.
I turn abrupt and there you are,

my loved one, yes, my loved one.
