A lonely lady who was despairing
Was in need of some urgent repairing
So since she was alone
Plus no man on the phone
A bottle of wine made a good pairing

Sometimes a good Pinot Grigio or a decent Chardonnay is more reliable, anyway. I agree with Panagiota, a little, but a very good limerick, otherwise, David.

I see pathos in this David. Please excuse me. Loneliness occurs in both sexes, in the old and the young, The worst part is that people have no clue thsthat alxovol is drug,, is a depressant od all things, but I know we live in a culture more than willing to get high and escape pain. I-think your limerick reflects more than we know. Pangie
