A Blushed Rise
i hear the whisper
of your voice
carried on the quiver
of hummingbird wings
alluring me into dreams
like a lyric adrift
on westerly breezes
it lulls me to sleep
on a sliver of moon
within its lambent light
shimmering timidly
we dance ethereally
like shadows entwined
through the edges
of darkness
i can almost feel your lips
tenderly pressing against mine
as i curl myself
in the depths of your arms
a kiss of crimson
against the horizon
awakens me
yet i am more blushed
than morning
in memories
of my dreams
