A Better Way

The consequences of worrying about every little thing
is like going outside in sub zero temperatures
without gloves or mittens
and trying to scrape the ice from your car’s windshield
with your bare hands.
It just won’t work!
You’d wind up with frost bite
and a little blood dripping from your fingers.
There’s a better way!
Use an ice scraper
or wait till the sun melts the ice
and let the "Don't Worry, Be Happy" song
become your new best friend
like how your Mickey Mouse puppet
was your best friend
when you were a young child
and didn’t think you had a care in the world.
