A Beggar

A beggar I was stretching my arms for love
I searched it everywhere down and above
Finding your love, my quest I gave up
With your charm, my heart was filled up
I hitched my wagon to the stars.
My heart began racing in top gears.
Your love left me in a hypnotic trance
                    My spirit

It almost takes the shape of a flower. Such a lovely poem I somehow missed, dear

Ahhh!!! I like this one. It could only be the beggar who gave his heart to God. Thank you for sharing this one that reads like a good contender for a contest. Way to go. Sara K.
