A Beep

The slightest sound
                        imaginable
So soft, barely audible
                        implausible

Such a tiny bump --
  Had I even heard anything --

Produces such an awful
                        S C R A T C H

On my once-shiny, once-new
                         black Sedan

But there are fix-it places all around - probably its all done and dusted by now. Cheer up, it will look shiny and new again! Poetry hugs, Jennifer.
