A Beauty Lured
On that balcony flooded by early light,
no sadder eyes reflect a profound desire;
Juliet fell for someone humble and smart,
and her wish was to meet him somewhere.
Ah, beauty that a very handsome lad tried to lure,
you refuse to hold his hand, but choose poverty:
a life of wealth isn't your wish...neither is vanity!
