A Beautiful Woman Rests In Heaven
My heart breaks with those eyes so red,
you lay in silence on the bed-
So many tears your eyes have shed,
but what a life your grams has led.
For so much beauty she has seen,
and spread her laughter, so serene-
She kept her garden neat and clean,
and on her shoulder you did lean.
I know her cooking you will miss,
she rests in Heaven’s sweet abyss-
Just don’t forget her final kiss,
she now lives in glorious bliss.
Read her old journal, you shall find,
the grace and mercy of her mind-
Her tender heart, so pure and kind,
and in the sky your stars aligned.
dedicated to my sweet grandma who just
passed away.
