A Battle With Life

A battle with life 

Dying each minute 
Disease and medication 
Diagnosed cancer

Two loving hearts part,
Trepidation that turns true,
Tears their souls apart,

Contiguous breaks, 
Courage totally shattered,
Can see blemishes ?

Heartbeats if fumble,
Hard to search serenity,
Harsh words can crumble,

Drug abuse poisons,
Destructive devil dares do,
Death knocks anytime!

Lost one of my good friends last year to this! Gods grace n thanks to some medical/ surgical interventions life is prolonged but quality of life remains poor!

I know it's real hard to deal wid,, hv seen many of my patients struggling!
