A Battle With Life

A battle with life Dying each minute Disease and medication Diagnosed cancer Two loving hearts part, Trepidation that turns true, Tears their souls apart, Contiguous breaks, Courage totally shattered, Can see blemishes ? Heartbeats if fumble, Hard to search serenity, Harsh words can crumble, Drug abuse poisons, Destructive devil dares do, Death knocks anytime! Very expressive work..Cancer is a horrible illness that is relentless in its pursuit of a person..It is good that now there is much better treatment for it which offers hope to so many. ..Thanks for the visit to my page..Sara

About death I can relate, death of the soul. Your Haiku are depressing, but wonderfully thought out. I particularly like the multiple Haiku idea. Love, daver

Dear Dr. Upma, Harsh words can make our hearts crumble. Let's raise a glass in cheer to toast the uplifting comments people leave for us. Those who are dying from cancer know all too well that "Death knocks anytime" It's best to put worries aside and seize each joyful moment. Love, Carolyn
