The baby sat joyfully on her lap The mother on his tender thighs did tap It tickled the boy to laugh and laugh He was just one and a half Both invariably enjoyed that sport No one came in between their fun to abort The baby had such fairy grace Kiss after kiss she planted on his face The blissful pair looked ever so cute Who on earth can their oneness thwart?

Sweet poem, dear. Go back and see her rules. She wants ten lines or less. I had to redo my poem because I did not notice that at first!

Thank you so much dear Andrea for the correction. I shall just take ten lines and delete the rest.

What is more precious than the bond between mother and baby? You highlighted it well Valsa. Pity the poor little ones being raised by drug addled, abusive or neglectful parents, an increasing scourge upon mankind
