A Mistake I Was To Her

She became a prostitute at an early stage At 17 she carried me in her womb A mistake I was to her Regrets was her daily bread She hated the fact that I was part of her body Pregnant she was Abortions were not legalised back then Gues she could have aborted me A mistake I was to her She gave me away In the name of adorption She gave me away She never laid her eyes on me She hated me the day I was conceived Not even the day I was born She hated the fact that I was ruining her business A mistake I was to her She gave me away to a stranger They call it adorption I call it living in an outside world I grew up as a slave The thought of being given away haunted me day and night My mama my papa Never wanted me My mama my papa I asked my self Will I ever get a chance to meet them Will she come back to her senses and look for me My mama my papa given me away in the name of adorption Adorption the outside world Family I couldn't define For it was beyond my knowledge Love was so strange to m Sorrows slavery and pain was my daily source In the name of adorption My life turned to be hell on earth A mistake I was to her Nor did I know my language or my culture Where do I come from I wanted to know I felt like the world has abondon me A mistake I was in this world The word love never existed to me Yes till I met you You took me from the street and gave me a shelter From nobody to somebody I now can define my self A countless family is what I am having The countless love u gave me Yes! Till I met you All my questions were answered A mistake I am not A blessing I am Yes! Til I met you God You loved me anyway Even when I had no family you loved me You took me from the world of slavery to the world of peace You saved me God A mistake I am NOT
