The Resilience of the Human Spirit

Imagine!! Spending each day of your very limited life. Communicating only at one poetry site? They only respond to those who read them? How selfish~ radioactive poets, ahem! They’d drop atom bombs on people’s delicate souls. People you believed that cared, have turned to coal! Theirs acts are so specious, so some poets absolutely will fold. They were foolish to believe, that you had a heart of gold. We never know what situation in life another poet faces. Gods of letters, we, drop them from our good graces? Those who shared their hearts with you… Mistakenly, you thought, were a friend that was true? Life is chock full of painful, great lessons to learn. They won’t kill you…enjoy the warm heartburn!! Ignorant punches will never, ever get you down. They give you strength and dignity to carry on. So pen…but never necessarily to please. Godspeed! Now rise, get off your knees! Great poets pen of things that matter to them! Of hope and fantasy, and each night, whisper, Amen!

What a great title to give words to Pangie. The first three stanzas really grab us by their powerful meaning. And your second to last stanza is classic advice that you excel at. Oh, and I miss you on some of my latest writes.

Greetings from the West Ghost! Just haven’t been around much. Holidays coming plus news is hardly uplifting. Thank you for being specific that is so classic Pangie alright)) Right on the money! It’s reminds me of the dragon in the Chinese New Year’s parade. Seen many of them in SF.a delight to see! Humanity needs to get off their knees. Especially to the governments. Boo! There are some evil people in power in all nations. The UN is not God.. I have no respect for that body of feudal lords!They support genocide. The UN is everything America is not. That building should fall down or be blown up. Sorry but that’s how I feel.. I like my freedom in all its forms! I cannot breathe in a vacuum, nor compose in one. Do you know the saying. “ the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” It’s time for courage.we are nor wimps . Pangie xxxx

Hey Regina, I can’t write fictional poetry. I am unable to.i wrote about the sexualabuse of women on Oct 7th, Nobody cared. Today, it is front page news?isn’t that amazing? Even women’s groups won’t stand for women hostages neing abused..the UN does not care, Does anyone have the courage to speak it for women right here in poetry? I think not. It deeply saddens me. It’s disgusting. We stand for climate control while women are abused and killed..add chilren!! What are we, you tell me! Please. Pangie xxxx
