~ the Meadow ~

The meadows clearing.... Surrounded by the forest, afore the mountains sculpted by time Majestic splendors, rising, beneath the blueish skies With cascading waters, of virgins white melting snow Heavens unveilings, before all of our eyes These gifts unto the living, and all of life ~ As a mother deer stands frozen, aside her infant buck Stirrings within the backdrops, that only her senses can perceive While I watch her intently, and she watches me Smiling at this wonder, created from the dust A vision envisioned.... Before there was breath, or even light to be seen Unfathomed treasures, beyond the diamonds of sight The quiet that engulfs, this reflective mind ~ Looking unto the firmaments; beyond Which shall soon reveal her twinklings, among the galaxies from afar Eyes within this moment, that stand in awe Beholding these castles, whereof once I never could See clearly these tidings, of paradisiacals endless days ~ Glancing back at this mother; this deer and infant buck A heart that melts, often ~ When I hear her voice, softly speaking unto me.... Wrapping her arms about my waist, gently, as she slowly proceeds Within these sparklings, of soulful dreams, whispering, into my ears again As I feel her breath, warm, that enraptures me so While I take her hands, perfect, within my own And together again, we are, as we become, one ~ Speechless, upon these streets made of gold...."Now, Beyond" This canvas, and beyond this time Unto the promises of tomorrows, forevermore.... Smiling as I turn, to kiss her sweet and fragrant lips Knowing, that we shall always be like this ~ While the mother she then, blinks her innocent eyes And her baby he leaps, with joy inside As his father approaches, with his siblings in tow; reunited These dawnings that awaken, as I draw her close Breathing her beauties, and kissing her hair Amid this moment together, becoming as one.... Seeing yesterdays promises, now, beyond these hues ~ Winking as they smile, these Angels, always watching us all While The Father He glistens, as we stand in awe Before the forest, the mountains, and the water falls Within the meadows of clearings; these visions The jewels of eternals, "Everlasting Love" ~ As she embraces my heart, and I caress her brow Approaching, again, to say hello unto us now The Father of all creation, and the Son, of all light Together as one, together, for all of "Time!" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ The Meadow ~

A lovely title for this piece, John. Rapt images that cause the words to flow...much like that 'waterfall'. 'Meadow's do feel like a spot where one might gather one's thoughts. The images here are sweet and subtle. They create a peaceful ambiance. I love how you've chosen the deer as characters..those beautiful and serene eyes...certainly soul seekers. I hope you're well and happy, John! Wishing you the best..God bless you and yours! Love to you..Mikki
