Looking At These Lovely Mountains God Made
This sight is free The Lord wants us
for I can see to never fuss
these mountains all around. which makes Him feel so good.
There’s peace up here He loves to see
and it’s sincere. His kids set free,
Birds make the only sound. each living like they should.
Those hills afar These mountains high
are where they are help beautify
since God has put them there. this land God’s made for me
He wants me to so when I pray
describe to you to Him each day
this beauty everywhere. He shows His majesty.
Oh, it’s just great When calm winds blow
to meditate. it helps me know
It’s such a lovely feeling. that He is with me here.
I feel His love He is my King,
from Him above that’s comforting
and I feel His strong healing. so He casts out all fear.
The love God’s shown Majestic mountains
is not unknown pour out like fountains.
to Christians everywhere. They roll for many miles.
This gorgeous sight When I’m up here
made by His might I’ve not one fear
is proof that He does care. which brings a lot of smiles.
These pretty lands My shout, “Hello!”
made by His hands comes fast, not slow.
are pleasing to the eyes. It echoes far away.
The grass is green, That’s nature’s song,
it's quite serene, no notes are wrong
and I just see blue skies. which always makes my day.
In winter, snows Go on a hike
mean warmer clothes. then joy will spike
It looks like cotton candy. when you can blaze a trail.
It’s colored white. You’ll learn right much
That’s sheer delight. from plants and such
To me it’s rather dandy. since good times will prevail.
Each right strong gift As these birds sing,
my soul, does lift good cheer they bring.
and makes me feel so proud. Their concert’s free to hear.
The Lord’s blessed me Each song is so pretty,
so I’m set free. not heard in the city.
I will praise Him out loud. It’s pleasing to each ear.
The rivers flow Some big bullfrogs
quite fast, not slow. on hollow logs
That water is quite cold. have such a happy song.
It’s made for creatures They all sing bass,
who have warm features. that is their place,
On that fact, I am sold. while peepers join along.
We have no smoke Now, I will praise
which makes us choke. God all the days
The air is really clear of my life and beyond.
so folks live longer, He’s used His powers
their bodies, stronger. to make the flowers
That’s how it is up here. and all fish in the pond.
All this clean air If life’sb a mess
is not down there ask Him to bless
in cities with it’s smog you, that’s what He will do.
which makes it fun Give Him each care
just to go run and leave it there
for I do love to jog. so that He can bless you.
