Aqua blue sled Thumpity thump thump thump Children laugh with glee Thank heavens for air conditioning Bumpity bump bump bump Wheeeee! Mom mirrors masterpiece The Scream Declares, “This shall not be forgotten!” Dad pleads his case, “But, I put a mattress on the bottom.”

still laughing! Mattress on the bottom...priceless. Summer sledding...how novel! As kids we'd take old gunny sacks and walk to the levee of a nearby lake, take a running start with the gunny sacks under our behinds and slide down the levee. I remember how sore my back side was. Only did it once because mom forbide our return :-)
