8 Minutes of Awesomeness

At 827PM, I'm looking out of the western window of our home.
A few seconds ago, I was busy writing a letter to America, wishing
her a Happy Birthday. I then took a moment to look over my left
shoulder, whereupon I beheld a majestic canopy that captured my attention.
I have ceased writing the 'America' poem and am now writing this one.

The sun has set but left a masterpiece of beauty in its wake.
I am observing red hues, light and dark blues, and white and dark grey.
I am receiving a live demonstration of how each sunset has a different painting, perhaps as unique as human fingerprints. In this 'never before
never again moment, I sit awed and amazed.

The Painter of these breathtaking and mesmerizing views never ceases to strike His divine brush as the ever-changing views remain in motion
and ever alive as I just captured 8 minutes of awesomeness.
