8 LINE CHALLENGE For ERIC BODDIE

8 LINE CHALLENGE for Eric Boddie

Line challenge for Eric Bodie
 PLEASE KEEP IT GOING
by: All of Us

Eight lines at a time
I don't care if you do or do not rhyme
I just want to see your skill
That's just me keeping it real
I feel this selection will be epic
But it has us all, that was expected
So Please copy this and paste your hearts to it
It doesn't matter where you find it, please let's all just do it (goodest aka eric l boddie)

I cannot spend the time
to sit and write in rhyme
I've so many words to say
Not enough hours in the day
Your humour makes me smile
I really love your style
This challenge you have set
I'm the first to take the bet. (Jan Allison)

If it's skills that you seek
then in rhymes I will speak
about life, death or love
a future down low or way up above
I've been down on my luck
also have won lots of bucks
So I'm just here to say
We will all have our day. (Tim Smith)

Did l hear epic? I will make the time
to sit and come up with rhymes
Your words and rhymes inspire
after reading you I'm empowered
You added some flava to the soup
we stand out as a united troop
I can't wait to see who comes after me
I guess I'll just have to wait and see. (Alexis young)

Just eight lines, rhymed or not, you say?
A good start to my day!
What will be the prize for my time,
Not a penny or dime?
Ah I know now, just a challenge
Of course it does makes sense
Just continue the chain in verse
for a friendly universe.. (Kim Patrice Nunez)

If a challenge is what you want
It will be in the wrong font
Rhyming, similes, and metaphors
They still fall to the floor
I’m such a bore
Oops! I need to yawn
You’ve come to the wrong place to bring it on. (Eve Roper)

Eight lines of shadows and impending dark
Guess for me, it`s just a stroll in the park
But I will try, to lighten the deepest black
With a hint of light, thru an opening crack
As dark turns to grey ,now a brilliant white
I`m struggling for words that may nibble not bite
I like the light , but in the black spend my time
Please don’t tell anyone , I did eight lines of rhyme (I.A.Guyler)

Eight lines these you demand ?
Hardened to the core
Taking this ... My task at hands
turned into quite a chore
I rally words each morning
Readying for the fray
I sigh and roll my eyes ...
While I hold the wolves at bay ( Bev Smith )

Thou shalt count to the number of eight
assembling words of great weight
you can fill them with wonder
a hint of double entendre
sweet scented perfume,
a covetous wink
but please, oh please, nothing
that might cause them to think. (John Lawless)
