The numbers are out of order
but so are the days
I need a close friend now more than ever
and you're fitting right into place
Someone I can throw my thoughts at
and for you to do the same
I'm learning more this time around
and putting things into perspective
It didn't help that I ran
for a few months
So what am I to do
but be a friend to you
from a different point of view
